Oxehealth founder takes part in Astellas innovation debate - 29 January 2015

Oxehealth founder, Professor Lionel Tarassenko was recently invited to take part in the 2015 Astellas Innovation debate on 'what the DNA and data revolutions mean for our health.' The panel, which included Doctor Leroy Hood, Baroness Lady Kennedy and Professor Rolf A.Stahel, discussed the changes in the way individuals have more control over monitoring their own health through the use of technology.
In this video you can hear Prof. Tarassenko talk at length on the future of healthcare technology. The debate lasts two hours, so if you are pushed for time we recommend jumping to minutes 30.28 and 59.58; where Prof. Tarassenko discusses the increasing importance and ability of personal camera-based technologies to record vital signs data, and the need to present this data in a way that allows personal health information to be understood by everyone.
