Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust extends its use of innovative technology to improve patient safety
Leading mental health trust expands its use of Oxehealth Digital Care Assistant (DCA) solution to its acute services at the Caludon Centre, Coventry
Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) is rolling out the Oxehealth Digital Care Assistant (DCA) solution across its Acute Services to act as an additional tool to complement nursing observations and enhance patient safety, quality of care and staff safety.

CWPT had already deployed the Oxehealth solution on its dementia wards in 2017, where it has been enthusiastically adopted by staff to reduce fall rates.  This success has led CWPT to roll out the Oxehealth solution across its Acute Services.

The solution will help the Acute Services teams at CWPT to be even more responsive to patients’ needs whilst reducing serious incidents.

Since July 2018, 65 additional bedrooms have been equipped with Oxehealth DCA technology across:
  • PICU
  • Male and Female Acute
  • Rehab wards.
