A Guide for Patients and Carers

We believe that every patient and care home resident deserves outstanding, compassionate, safe, and dignified care. We believe in promoting and protecting independence, privacy and dignity - and, where recovery is possible, the fastest possible recovery for patients.

The Oxevision system and service have been codesigned with clinicians and service users. Working closely with healthcare providers, we aim to ensure patients and carers are involved in the decision, implementation and continuous learning and development of using Oxevision in a healthcare setting.

We know that the privacy and dignity of any person encountering an Oxevision system is of critical importance to them, their carers and their healthcare providers. We support healthcare providers to carefully consider how to incorporate the use of this system into daily clinical practice to ensure that it is lawful, ethical and supportive of improving quality of care for all patients during their stay in hospital.
