Oxehealth Chosen to be Part of Tech Nation’s Upscale Programme

As featured in Forbes, Oxehealth is one of the 30 participants (full cohort list here) on a programme kicking off today for rapidly growing startups run by the government-backed, U.K. network for entrepreneurs.
Upscale helps the UK’s most promising tech companies to accelerate their growth and unlock the key to scaling successfully.
Oxehealth, among other tech firms, will enter the programme’s fourth annual cohort today, seeking mentorship on issues such as hiring and retaining talent, maintaining culture while scaling a business and international expansion.
Companies on the Upscale programme will benefit from open conversations, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, meetups and workshops, delivered by expert scale coaches and seasoned entrepreneurs who have been through it all. It's free to join, and we don't take an equity stake in your business either.
“As startups get traction and investment, it puts a lot of pressure on the founder and its executives,”- Gerard Grech, CEO of Tech Nation.
Of the 30 participating startups, a total of £188 million of investment has been raised averaging a not insignificant £6.2 million each. Investors might expect a handful of failures from a portfolio but founders don’t want to be the one to fill that particular slot.
Hugh Lloyd-Jukes, CEO, commented, “Oxehealth is now contracted to over 16% of English Mental Health Trusts as well as customers in police, prison and care home sectors. We also have a budding business in Sweden. As we grow our company, we are eager to take the lessons of experience from the world’s best entrepreneurs so we can get our Digital Care Assistant solution just right for staff, patients and the NHS. I’m sure Upscale will be an invaluable source of learning for us all.”
