Oxehealth's Digital Care Assistant Featured in CQC's Driving improvement through technology Case Study
TheCare Quality Commission (CQC) has published a series of case studies that highlight examples of innovative ways of using technology in care settings. The examples that are highlighted in the report are examples of innovation that CQC have seen or been told about in the course of their work. They are being shared to raise awareness and to encourage health and care services to improve. The series, titled Driving improvement through technology, has a focussed section on Telemonitoring that includes an in-depth feature on Oxehealth's Digital Care Assistant with an overview of our solution including the clinical outcomes that stemmed from Oxford Health's recent service evaluation on a male acute ward, as well as the findings from Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust's eight-month clinical study,conducted in late 2018. The Care Quality Commission note, "we are determined that regulation does not stand in the way of digital developments. Yet using technology and innovation must never come at the expense of high-quality, person-centered care". About Oxehealth Oxehealth was founded by the head of engineering at Oxford University, Professor Lionel Tarassenko in 2012.
