Support Your Frontline Staff with Oxevision

Oxevision has been designed to address the challenges faced by staff in inpatient behavioral health hospitals. As the first patient monitoring system for the setting, it opens the door to new ways of working by providing staff with 24/7 safety data, enabling clinical teams to deliver safer and higher quality care to patients, whilst increasing productivity.

An improved experience for frontline workers

In this article by the Financial Times, you can find out more about how the National Health Service (NHS) in England is using a vision-based patient monitoring system to support an overstretched workforce.

“In my experience, the Oxehealth system gives us more time to spend with patients while also knowing patients are safe. For example, at night-time, we’ll know that one patient is fine, so we'll have time to attend to another patient who needs something. Our patients tend to go to bed late, so once we are able to check their vitals and make sure they’re okay, we’ve got extra time to attend to other patients who need assistance.” - Unit Manager, NHS behavioral health provider

Staff who use Oxevision also report feeling less stressed and anxious, more reassured and better able to do their jobs:

“We couldn’t be happier having the system on the ward… It’s  made our jobs a lot easier and makes patients feel a lot safer.”

“[Oxevision] helps a lot with our own stress and anxiety, especially with measuring the [patients’] breathing and pulse rate.”

“Before Oxevision, it was constantly busy and felt like we  were firefighting. Now, occasionally we’ll have some spikes but it’s better. Now you can take time to have meaningful interactions with patients and not just be reactive to an incident.”

87% of staff reported that Oxevision helps them to provide better patient care*
