Working with Experts by Experience

Technology has revolutionized almost every aspect of modern healthcare, providing us with quicker, more accurate, diagnoses, more effective treatment, and swifter recovery. But not all patients receive the same level of care. All hospital patients benefit from patient monitoring apart from patients in behavioral health facilities. At Oxehealth, we believe all patients deserve the best in care, supported by technology that has been developed with them, for their specific needs.

This is why Oxehealth has focused its efforts on inpatient behavioral healthcare. The people who choose to work with us as teammates, advisors and experts by experience share our values of integrity, inclusiveness, sensitivity, kindness, and compassion. These values underpin every aspect of our work so we can innovate in the best way we can to create better, safer care for those with severe and enduring mental illness.

That is what has driven us since we started our research work over a decade ago. We recognize that all mental health treatment raises important ethical questions, irrespective of whether or not technology tools are used. And we know that while technology can undoubtedly help address today’s challenges, it can also create concern.

This is why, from the start, we have worked collaboratively and respectfully with patients, their families, and clinicians to inform, challenge, and guide our developments. We are always open to all points of view in order to learn together and ensure the work we do provides real benefit to all.

If you would like to work with us, please do get in touch.
